Tyler, a Laflin, PA native, comes to the Mallards having served as Scout for the WB/Scranton Knights in the NCDC during the 2023-24 season. 

Prior to his role as NCDC Scout, Tyler skated 48 games over three seasons at St. Olaf College in Northfield, MN.

Before his college career began, he spent the 2017-18 season with the New Hampshire Avalanche in the EHL, the 2016-17 season with the Binghamton Jr Senators of the NA3HL, and 2015-16 with the Portland Jr Pirates 18U team in the USPHL.
